an immediate sense of clarity
When Daniel first approached me about co-founding Survey, I felt an immediate sense of clarity. I knew I was ready to take the leap and build something meaningful with someone I trusted, rooted in integrity and shared goals. The amount of support and talent already surrounding Survey has been incredibly affirming and reminds me daily why this journey feels so right.

My creative career began after earning a BFA in Media Arts and has taken me down many paths, from working as a script supervisor in television to spending years in New York as an art director, prop master, and set dresser in the film and advertising world. In 2009, I moved to Nashville to be closer to family and, eventually, to start one of my own. That move opened the door to new creative opportunities, including wardrobe and prop styling and producing for both large companies and small, purpose-driven clients.
Becoming a parent reshaped how I viewed my work and my time. I wanted to create a career that allowed me to show up for my kids and to be present for field days, school lunches, and classroom parties, while still
pursuing work that challenged and inspired me. Co-founding Survey gives me the flexibility to do both, and the chance to show my children that with hard work, intention, and the right people around you, anything is possible.
After years of learning what works (and what doesn’t), I’m deeply grateful to be here building Survey, growing alongside incredible people, and creating the next magical chapter together.
Good enough is not good enough for us
Hey folks! I’m Daniel - thanks for popping over here for a quick read!
I’m so excited to get this Survey story rolling. After months of planning, pushing, and building, we’re ready to kick off 2026 with an exciting adventure!
A little backstory on me: I earned my degree in commercial photography from Randolph Community College in North Carolina back in 2011. I continued working in NC with a furniture-focused creative studio for a year before moving to Nashville. Here in Nashville, I’ve spent over a decade working as a lighting assistant, lighting director, and photographer. Building relationships and telling stories here has taught me a lot, both good and bad. Most importantly, it gave me the roadmap for how I want to build Survey, and I knew Meg was the person I wanted to help me build it.
Meg and I knew that if we were going to build a company, it had to be different from everything else. We had seen too many examples of what we didn’t want to be, so we put our stakes in the ground with the intentionality of being different.
Building community. Relationships. Having fun. Eliminating toxic environments. Putting the right people in the right seats. Sharing life-changing stories. Being trustworthy.
Our company is built on these foundational pieces (and more), and they will make Survey synonymous with integrity. We’re here to lift each other up—our team, our clients, and our communities. Our goal isn’t to be the biggest, but to be the best: the best to work for and the best to work with.
“Good enough is not good enough” has become our unofficial motto.
We’re thankful you’re here, and we can’t wait to share our story with you as it grows.
